Hi everyone, my next project is upgrading my lights (so I can actually see and be seen) Just wondering should I go for full set of NAS lights or just change the bulbs (LED) so they are brighter, gonna fit some crystal angel headlights at same time, so question again is- NAS or not

I fitted NAS lights to my last 90. They looked good. Really made a difference especially to the rear. They make a big difference to the rear. Last thing I wanted was to be shunted on the motorway at night from someone who didnt see me because my lights were not bright enough. Dont bother with LED bulbs though. I tried some of those with the NAS and they were rubbish. The crystal front headlights with upgraded nightbreaker bulbs will also be a great upgrade.

My old 90 with NAS lights....

My new 110 with upgraded headlights and bulbs. I done this to both my last land rovers. Its one of the best upgrades I done.

I can get a full set of RDX L.E.D NAS lights for £200, this will kill two birds, one stone.

I didn't think led lights were legal when retrofitted, or am I wrong

You can fit led lights in place of filament lights but you can't fit led bulbs to lights designed to have filament bulbs.

Cos they can, probably.. I bet they will claim the pattern isnt right or some horse****..

Agree with the clear headlights and nightbreakers, very imprressed. N a s is too dear to be justifiable for me!

It's to do with the reflectors in the lights I believe.

The stupid thing is that defender side/tail and indicators don't have reflectors anyway. It's easier to make it wide spread acroos the board though (for policing issues) than to allow one model of vehicle and not another.
