Discovery 300tdi,1998 R reg
Can anyone tell me where on the transfer box the sender unit is ?. is it a sender?
I've been told my disco has a transponder / transducer / sender that tells what speed the car is doing,it has not got a speedo cable apparently,wish I had known this before was half way taking my clocks out.
My rev counter works but not the speedo it just started flicking around the clock, but now it does nothing, the milage has stopped recording also.
If it has a transponder / sender, can anyone tell me where it is and what it would look like,is it a plug,is it attached to wires,cables,is it above below or on the side,and do you just pull it out or is it bolted screwd on.
Sorry for all the questions but its a bit tight under the car where I am and don't want to just start puling at the wrong thing.
