Can anyone help me.
I have just bought a Series 3 Land Rover. It is an 88 inch station waggon, with a Land Rover MK2 hydraulic winch and an oil cooler.

In the bonnet, on top of the radiator, it says the paint is MME and the trim is JCH. What do these mean?

Also on the back, above the 'Station waggon' badge and the reversing light there is an aluminium plate which had writing on it. Does anyone know what this might have said?

Finally, it has two rater strange bonnet catches. They are in the image. Does any one know anything about them?

Any help in finding out about the history would be great.

The top plate may well have been the name of original supplier of the vehicle, just stickers today.
