2001 disco td5 the heater fan only works on full any ideas what this is please

If it has climate control then it may well be the power transistor.

This fixed the issue on mine. I don't think the original transistor is available now but alternatives on ebay are cheap enough.

It is a quite simple and cheap fix if it works. If it doesn't then replacing the whole pack gets quite dear.
