Hello again everyone, I'm Josh from Morden in Surrey. I used to own a Disco 200tdi and I found this forum great for help and advice, so thank you all! I joined some of you for a greenlane trip in "Sally" around Basingstoke about two years ago, which was fab.
Unfortunately, after two years of happy land rovering an expensive MOT meant that I had to say goodbye to my Disco. I still think about her every day, like a lost relative! So last week, after running a reliable (i.e.) boring japanese hatchback for a couple of years I bit the bullet and bought myself a 1995 Disco 300tdi ES auto. Seems to be in better condition than "Sally", and it has leather and air-con! Who says a land rover isnt luxurious....
Already planning fitting an egr blank kit when I change a radiator hose this weekend (and flushing the radiator), full service the weekend after, removing side steps and finding bits and pieces that have gone missing from the vehicle over the years.
I'm looking forward to getting involved with shows/greenlaning etc, and offering useless advice to this forum to anyone that'll take it from a novice!
