You need some basic offroad driving training. IF!! he'd got his front wheels over the top. He have grounded out in the middle and looked like a giant seesaw.

Nothing was getting up that slope at that angle. The effect would have been the same what ever vehicle had tried it. gravity doesn't give a **** what vehicle you drive. IF and it's a big If!! he had got over the top he would have high centred and been stuck there unable to move forwards or backwards.
The secret of a good offroader is been able to look at a lane or an hill and say nope we're not going down there, lets go. Any idiot can drive down a green lane that is obviously too wet or muddy to drive and tear it to pieces and fook it up completely and spend half the day having to be pulled out, or try to climb a dangerous hill and roll his vehicle. But it takes real balls and intelligence to assess the situation and then turn around and drive away.
Something that a few people on here could do to learn..
