Hi

Moving to Ireland next February - just had the fright of my life to see the road tax for my 4.6 vogue - its neary 1700 yo yos/year

Are their any ways (legal!) to reduce this ?? I couldnt justify (or afford) this kinda money....

I'm assuming you're not the first to find this out. There's a steady stream of Land Cruisers with Irish registrations coming into a body shop next to my work. A bloke's got a good going business buying them in Ireland, shipping them to England, tarting them up, re-registering them and flogging them on. He must be getting them for peanuts.
