just dropped it off, pick it up tomorrow, not looking forward to that.

When I gave the girl the Reg over the phone, she said "Oh well that will fail then!!" as soon as I had started with K !!!!!

cross fingers time, I am most worried about rust around the points where the bonnet mounts to the bulkhead, there are a couple of holes there, I think it might fail on them at least.

The horn works OK though!!!!

you want to try it FINISHING the reg with a K! Bulkhead repair panels are cheap enough.....good luck

Mine begins with a K and is due at the end of the month! .... not looking forward to it but have fitted a new rear 1/4 chassis at least! ... good luck.

Mine begins with H, due next month! Have a rusty outrigger to get welded and windscreen washers to sort. I have a slightly rusty bottom of door pillar (in the cab). Is that likely to be an issue?

I will report back tomorrow, everything crossed tonight. I am definitely going to learn to weld this year, I just never got round to it this year, but I am sure it is going to be necessary soon.

That was nice of her to say that .... not . Ill take mine there and and see what she says about mine being a E reg lol , then see her face when I get a pass with no advisorys

I'd find somewhere a bit more professional next time. How does she have any idea what condition your motor is in just by the reg? It could have been a concours show motor - but then again it is a Land Rover.

My H passed last month, 2 advisories: Cracked front number plate, oil leak!

Brilliant ... hope you waved the certificate to the girl in the office whilst sticking your middle finger up and telling her to swivel on it!!
My K reg booked in for Wednesday :-(

I think she was just trying to be friendly and having a joke, she was very friendly and as please as I was that it passed!!!

Now I can start on the long list of things for next years MOT!!!!!
