No actually put it back on betterer that one
FIP overheated much sooner than normal without it.

Wonder if the better option is rather than warming it up heat dissapating slowly everywhere
Instead take it for a blast get the turbo warmed up then see what temperature it settles down at
I very deliberately didn't move or touch the throttle because that introduces more variables. I guess on pre-EGR models the IAT might affect fuelling slightly but it will be pretty minimal at idle. Similarly the EGR ones from the MAF as it will be near enough atmospheric pressure at idle.
It takes a LONG time for fuel temperature to stabilise.
You have never checked that for sure.People who don't listen get on my nerves. Keith asked a question and did not like the answer simple as that. I will help anyone but some will not accept the answer. If you are convinced you know more than the person you are asking why bother asking. You will note i NEVER ask questions on here i don't have to. The fact remains that providing all else is good a car with a viscous fan and shroud fitted will settle at a temp lower than one with them removed.
Where did I say that? Now come on. The fuel temp has nothing to do with modulation. Keith says so it must be true. As a matter of fact he said when i mentioned it as a factor that i was talking complete bovine excrement.![]()
This is getting quite funny, Wammers still cannot say what "up to temperature" is in degrees centigrade.
It varies quite bit between winter and summer with the viscous fan fitted.
When I get a moment, like a whole morning spare, I will re-run the test and add fuel temperature to the results.
Amazing how Wammers can take a simple question that he does not have the data to answer and turn it into a slanging match.
