Does anyone know how much variation in the modulation can be expected with coolant temperature? @wammers perhaps?
Maybe it's not obvious. it's a 1999 diesel with MAF & EGR.

I always drive with torque running, that logs time, speed, revs, coolant temp etc every few seconds. Happy to share if it's of any use

If the dirty diesels would work on the Torque app we would all be laughing and not struggling with out a Nanocom

We have just as much style it just sounds a bit different, not that you could hear that when the fans cut in

What style is that? Must be great listening for the gentle tick of liners shunting up and down and trying to decide if you have a misfire or if it's just the normal V8 uneven firing cycle

Modulation is only checked engine up to temp at idle. Should be in the 45 to 55% range. It will increase as revs rise and pump internal pressure rises.

Mine is literally a guzzler on gas, not petrol no HC or CO

I know that, but I'm interested in how much it varies with coolant temperature.
