Hi folks, looking at a 3 door D1 tomorrow. Had a few 5 doors so used to what to look for around the rear inner arches and also how to mod the arches to allow 265/75's to fit.

Are there similar corrosion issues with the 3 door version and also, does it make it more difficult to modify the rear arches?

dont know about the arches but the 3 doors seem to be better than the 5 doors for corrosion.

in what way modified?

Hi Andy

3 doors are easier than 5 doors! Much less metal, less complex panels etc etc, and easier to cut the arches right out if you wanted to go to the same profile as the inner tub, can't do that with a 5 door.
