Hi all,

I noticed my Disco is missing the bonnet switch. Also I can't see any sign of the cable and plug that it would have connected to.

Anyone know if it was an option, or perhaps fitted for some regions, but not for others?

not an option, standard equipment on all part of the main harness

Ok thanks, I'll do some fishing around looking for the cable / plug. It must have dropped down behind something..

I looked for mine for ages before finding it tucked down under the air filter.

Thanks, I followed the main loom toward the front of the car and found the missing wire and plug hiding underneath it!

Just got to get a bonnet switch and then we should be good to go...

Could it be the previous owner had problems with it and rather than replace it they've just disconnected it and tucked the wires out the way?

Exactly. I think they went over the car, trying to clean it up before selling it.
