Tried a set of 265/75/16's on my Disco before buying some to get an idea of how much difference it would make. What I have found is that the drivers front tyre hits the rock slider however the passanger side tyre clears it not a problem.

Having not had a chance to take it to my workshop I had a look underneath on the drive and cant see anything obviously bent or broken. Rough (and I mean rough) measurements are 4 fingers between bottom of arch and passanger tyre but a very tight 3 finger widths on drivers.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this? I've been searching around and can't seem to find anything.

Thanks all.

Don't know, but bent axle casing, bent front trailing arms, or as you say, misaligned axle. Have you measured front and rear axles, centre to centre, front to back?

Got measurements today. Center of rear to center of front wheel. Lost half an inch on passanger side so guessing bent radius arm or arm mount.

Not long had polybushes on the back of the front radius arms. Dont know when the others were last changed will look into it. Nothing is visably bent or out of shape we can see.
