Which is better and why: a raised air intake (snorkel) made of galvanised metal, or one made of plastic?
 
i dont think it makes much difference i have a plastic one it hasn't faded or broke when bushes hit it. works well doesn't rust. plus if it does get caught it will be easy to break off than a metal one.

Yeah, you NEED a coffee pot fer the top, they dunt werk proper without. If you can't find a coffee pot, goldfish bowls or even a small lighthouse is a good second.

I've got a safari and had it bent back on trees a few times with no splitting, I only broke the grill so it got replaced with a stainless one job done
 
Dunt got the original of that shot.

Frankly, I can't honestly remember what it was called. It's a phase of my life I'd rather forget all details of. Look it up on t'internet if you want one that much. ;)
