Does anyone know if matchams is still open? Or do they close this time of year?

With all this crap weather i fancy doing a bit of offroading but may settle for a day at the plains not fully decided yet or may even try and find the lanes a fellow member showed me
 
What about Muddy Bottom at Cadnam? They might be open. I've never been but it would only take you another 15 mins from the machems .
 
i think i was meant to be going muddy bottom with wizzywill but my swivel bearing and cv gave up the ghost after the previous weekend at matchamsad didnt get chance to fix it.

Never been though is it better than matchams? where s the place in your profile pic? that look brilliant?

muddy bottom is far more extreme that matchams but about half the size,place in my pic is on Salisbury plain :)
 
Next time you organise a trip to salisbury i think ill have to tag at the back lol never found anything that good over there.
 
If we're not going to extreme I could bring my p38 for sandwich carrying duties.
