W waddy1200 Active Member Feb 28, 2013 #1 was under my p38 today and noticed this round lump of metal bolted to the front axle google serch showed picture and name of mass damper. question is should i be able to wobble this thing around with my hand or should it be unmovealbe?

Saint.V8 Dyed-in-the-wool 100% RR Junkie Full Member Feb 28, 2013 #2 I would imagine it is supposed to be bolted tight, else it won't be able to dampen any vibration from the axle.... EDIT: RAVE indicates bolt to be tightened to 45Nm (33lbft) .... so yes it should not be wobbly
