Did Land Rover fit cross drilled input gears to any of the LT230 transfer boxes?
I have a box out of a 1995 Discovery and had assumed that Land Rover had got their act together by then, but I'm not so sure now.

Mine had a cross-drilled gear, but it was a '97 Disco.

That's reassuring as I think all the 300tdi Discos are G suffix boxes, you would hope that they would change the suffix if they upgraded them. Wish that I thought to look before I fitted it.
Just crawled underneath, it's a F suffix box, so I may have answered my own question! It's also ****ing out oil, so I can double check when I take it out to replace the oil seal.

I think the cross-drilled gear was fitted from 1997 onwards.
