I need to replace the input gear on my tfer box (as per above), just did a search which suggests that it is not as easy to remove on the 1.003 ratio box as it is on the defender 1.41 and 1.667 ratio ones. Does anyone know what the difference is?
intermediate gear has larger diameter high gear which wont allow input to be pulled out with t/box secured to gear box,whats suffix of box ? suffix a and b input gear is frc5428
Thanks James, Its suffix B, I have to separate the boxes anyway so should just be able to pop a new input gear in. Might even fit one of those oil plates whilst m at it to keep it good
