Just bought a lr5 first edition which I collect tomorrow. It’s the td6 model. Dealer said it has timing chain rather than belt? Is this correct and what is the sequence of changing etc? There is 63k on the clock

I could be wrong here, but thought the td6 was the same 3.0 v6 as fitted to discovery 4? and the cams are belt driven, there are also 2 camchains, but the belts provide the main drive to the top end.
If that is the case some reaearch on the engine would be a good move on your part.
