Hey guys! In the process of changing bushes in rear radius arms and shocks, i was going to put the old shocks back in but have stripped the thread undoing the bottom nut. So was thinking of either replacing the springs and shocks with standard equipment or use the 1" lowering springs ive seen (road use mainly). Ive read in the threads about the problems that can happen when you raise the suspension on a landy but what about lowering?

thanks

I'd keep it standard to preserve the suspension geometry- mine rolls around a bit but goes round corners well enough. You could always fit anti-roll bars if you don't have them currently.

Ps I wouldn't worry about the axle rotation change from that. You'll only really notice it if changed over 2" plus or minus.

Even then I've got a mate that is a nutter and running a 5" lift on stock front arms still and drives ok for a defender lol not that advize doing that!! ...
