My RRC 1987 3,5 lost its ignition completely, the engine is rebuilt with Edelbrock carb and Magnetic breaker points from RPI.
What should i suspect first? There is no external amplifier between the distributor and coil, it has been running this way for some time, now it is completely dead and no sign of ignition, tried stroboscope and plug to earth
Any good ideas where to start, and does the Magneto require an amplifier?
Will the absence of amplifier eventually kill the coil?
