After owning serveral different types of land rover from freelanders to 110's im looking to purchase another 90.

I'm looking at a TD5 90 probably around the year 2000 to 2004 era.

Is there anything to look out for on them?, apart from the usual, chassis doors etc.

What is the tax on a td5 90 after 2001 as i think it inreased then.

Early ones had cylinder head problems - they crack , although I think post 2002 they are better. It's very expensive to sort out too.


Oil in the ecu is common , although that wouldn't put me off as it's cheap and easy to sort.
There are other things too but just usual stuff really.

As for tax it depends on wether it's a hard top or an sw.
