Just picked up an Exide battery for my Classic from Eurocarparts in Wembley for £88 inc vat. Higher CCA than a lot out there and came with a 3 year warranty.
Probably could have got cheaper off the net but I like to be able to take batteries back if there is an issue.
CPC Batteries are excellent.

Hi guys,
firstly apologies for hijacking this thread. As you all seem to be from the west London area was hoping that someone could help.
I have a few things i need to fix on my P38.
1, The bonnet latch catch, drivers side, bought another one from Emmots, great service btw, I can’t seem to fit it. Have taken off the front grill, and the panel that is on top of the engine bay that runs across the front of the bonnet. I still can’t seem to get take the latch out, and unplug the sensor. Do i need to remove the headlight.
2, My side lights aren’t working, checked fuse and bulbs, had second hand ones fitted last year some time, from the west midlands, not sure if they have been working since.
3, I changed the bulbs on the speedo instrument panel and damaged the clip to get the plastic surround back in, can this be fixed.
4, Need to change my driver’s side windows regulator, is tis easy or relatively uncomplicated to do
can anyone recommend a good and cheap independent dealer that could take a look at these for me. Alternatively as I am not very good at fixing stuff but am more than happy to get my hands dirty and try a few times. if someone can help me, and show me what I am doing wrong or need to do. I am more than happy to drive over to you. I am based in west London, Harrow/Sudbury and driver a 2.5 dhse.
Any advice tips greatly received and appreciated.
