Had the pleasure of replacing RH intake manifold today and finding hard securing the leak off pipes.

Once you push the tab that you lift up when removing it just doesn't go all the way down.
not sure if the whole pipe is not push far down enough or you should lift it a little.

Driving me crazy to be defeated but such a small thing in all honesty.

Trying not to force things as they fairly brittle.


Any advice?

On my D3 the bloody things kept leaking, would be okay for days or weeks then the diesel smell started, in the end new leak off pipe assy fixed it for good, 150 quid Iirc!
It was the leak off pipe to front rh injector that was the issue.

Little rubber grease on o rings allowed to push the connector and seal it.
