are 110 wheels and 90 wheels different? ive seen some 90 wheels that look right and small and thin. thing is ive got these 8 spoke wheels with 265/70/r15 a/t's and i want to replace em with some standard landy steel wheels but i dont want the wee thin ones you sometimes see on 90's.

wheels are effectively the same. by thin i think you mean the standard 750's on standard steel rims. if you want smaller tires, that are still a reasonable width go for 225/75/r16's or similar.

whats wrong with your 265's?

nuffin , but i just like the look of these better.

what are they? their just mud terrians on standard steelies. you could put those tires on your 8 spokes. from the tread pattern they look like colway m/t's, could be BFG's m/t's. any way you could find out?

you could prob get them on 8 spoke or modulars for the same price as steels. no reason to go back to steels.

110 wheels are load rated, same thing as you cant put 90 alloys on a 110... I'd assume that the smae goes for the steel wheels..

its not the tyre size im unhappy with , its the wheels. im just not an 8 spoke fan nor am i big into alloys. boost alloys i could live with i spose.
i quite like the greenway chaco and if i shop around ive found them at less than 50 quid a corner but 265's might be a wee bit too much tyre.

i heardx that 90's are 6 and 110's are 6.5

how come when you buy wheels then, they dont ask if its for a 90 or 110?

G

they do dont they? I was asked at frog island..at the 90 rostyles were thiner than my 110's rostyle..110's are closer to 8 inches whereas the 90's were 6.5 ish

well doenst the width depend on what tire you use and not the model?

im prob wrong, ive just never seen it quoted

dunno what the j stands for , probably nothing begining with the letter j.
ive got , or , had some split rims here from ancient landrover days. they were split rims , apparently the split rims are ex military.
