Yup, Novas have been around a very long time.
I remember, long before I got into Kit Cars, one belonging to someone who lived on the Royal Crescent in Bath and also seeing them driving around on the once a month thing up and down the Kings Road in Chelsea, I'd have to Google it to see what it was called. Very futuristic but you had to have powerful enough rams to open the lid if the car turned over in an accident.
One member of my club did start to build one but he had to do it in a shipping container, his wife was chronically handicapped and I don't know if he ever finished it. He also, like a lot of us, was a chronic perfectionist and that slowed him down hugely.
VW aircooled based if I remember rightly.
Love the looks but i personally hate VW aircooled after all the trouble I have had with Wifey's Speedster, not that it is the car's fault particularly. I know some peeps absolutely love em.
Somehow I missed the alert on this. Just seen it.
Nova, a real classic.
If you like Vw aircooled stuff.
Which I don't particularly having had no end of probs with Wifey's Porsche Speedster replica.
But always liked the futuristic styling.
Best of luck to your lad!
