Hi I am looking for steel wheels for my td5 2004 the standard size is 255/55/18 can you get this size in steel? smaller wheels I think would make the fuel economy less I can only find 16" in steel,dose anyone know where I can get standard size in steel?

Hi mate. The 18" and 16" that you're quoting refers to the diameter of the wheel itself - when you put the std factory spec tyres on the overall diameter is nigh the same.

255/55x18 = 29.04in dia
235/70x16 = 28.95in
255/70x16 = 30.06in

TBH I found the 255/70x16 to be the best size tyre for std suspension - it also corrects the speedo making it spot on

Regarding steel wheels, you'll be looking for D2 Commercial wheels which are steel
