Hello All,
Yesterday when I took the head of my 1989 2.5TD 90, I noticed the swirl pots were cracked.
I obtained some new ones, along with the pins to secure them in.
I managed to remove the old pots but the pins are stuck solid and I can't grab hold of them with needle nosed pliers.

Anybody got any advice on how to get them out please?

Thanks
Mervyn

Like spook says, try and tap the pins sideways wit a thin punch, loosen them up and try and get a bit of the pin sticking out so you can grab it with pliers.
Make sure you get the protrusion right when you fit the new swirls.
