Got a new Selector cable from Pentland (local dealer) and there seems to be a change, especially the slide for fixing the cable to a bracket at the gearbox end . Instead of a circular ferrule on rubber , its a much larger rubber circular mount and a nut to clamp it . Has anyone changed the cable and found this , the parts department are saying there are no superseded numbers , but perhaps the bracket has changed? Does anyone know about this please.
