Hi all, new to this forum so please bear with me.

I have just bought my first RR 4.4V8 on a 2003 plate.

It had a dodgy battery so I have had that changed. However when I got it home, I realised that the rear doors do not unlock.

1) Tried double pressing unlock button on key remote - no luck

2) Tried closing all doors and pressing the lock/unlock button on dash - no luck

3) The doors open from inside by pulling on handle twice (one to bring up the lock and second time to actually open the door.

Any help on fixing this problem would be GREATLY appreciated.

Yes, I can lock them with the keyfob.

They just won't unlock with the key fob or the button on the dash.
 
I will do that, though it seems strange that all the doors were locking and unlocking fine before the battery change.

And also, correct me if I'm wrong.....If the actuators were knackered, wouldn't the doors not lock as well as unlock?
 
I stand corrected my friend. I will have them tested on Monday and report back.

As a matter of interest, how much are new actuators?
