I'm getting a whining noise from the engine at first I thought it was the ird but its only when u have the power on for example when I stop accelerating and cruise the noise stops, is this just the engine?
If it's a low whine that gets higher as the engine revs, it could be the gearbox input bearing. If it's there when the engine is generating most torque then it's likely to be the turbo.
