Hi, I have (and have had since I bought my Landy 1 year age) Kumho off road tyres. My td5 seems to be doing quite a bit of deisel and i'm not sure if changing these for road tyres or at tyres would make much of a difference. Please advise.

What MPG are you getting?

I get about 24mpg out of my TD5 110, running BFG all terrains.

I agree with MHM, but I'll throw in a tube of Smarties too ...

Seriously, AT or road tyres will generally save on fuel consumption and have a longer life if you're mostly on-road. My BFG AT's still had 8mm tread after 25000 miles when I sold 'em on ...
