hi folks, my daughter just rang me to say her flr has developed a rumbling /knocking noise from the front of vehicle and gets worse when turning the steering could this be the cv joint , noise more from the nearside said its only started no warning

Hello Steve,search drive shafts?? .Could be a wheel bearing or many other things.

Mine does this on full lock when parking.

Power steering?

Depends if it's on potholes or smooth road. If it's potholes it's likely to be the ball joint. You'll fix this with a replacement wishbone for around £40 plus labour if you don't do it yourself.

Likely to be CV joints if you're only parking, going slow on smooth tarmac.
