Hi all

Well rather than describe what happening I've uploaded to youtube

Hopefully you can hear the knocking noise. it seems to stop when i apply pressure on the gear box or the exhaust, pushing the clutch in makes no difference to it at all. but just before this started the disco has started shaking when idle but again pressing the clutch makes no difference.


Any help would be greatly appreciated or general ideas as to the problem?

have you checked mounts gear box and engine,exhaust touching box or cross member

Well as you said I've just gone back out and re-checked the cross member and it looks as though a bolt is missing
Missed it first examination it would explain the stopping when pressing, I'll try and get a few bolts and see what size it is and replace it and I'll feedback tomorrow if it's fixed, might help others.

Futher Edit. the problem came back! and i couldn't find a thing then found this post http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/488222-post2.html

it turned out the bolt had actually dropped out and wedged it's self under the mount! lmao just jacked the gearbox up and relived the pressure so i could get it out!

My landys now 100% back to normal! thanks again
