This is from an on going issue, I have recently replaced a lucas 10as, and an ecu. re-programed the 10as, disabled all disabling. Key in the crank position all instrument lights on, no engine disable light illuminated.
I am at the point of needing access to the new ecu to re-map it; I get the first screen saying turn the ignition off (nanocom evolution) then an error saying it cannot complete the operation.

Is it the un mapped ecu not allowing the instrument panel light (key second position)?

How do I get around the 10as to map the ecu?
