So tonight I got a low battery warning for the key fob, I changed the battery and still have the warning.
I have tested the new battery and get 3.26v, I also get 3.11v on the old battery, anyone had similar or know what the cause may be please?
I have tried locking and unlocking a few times, also holding button to open and close windows.

At times, they just report such.....I get it on occasion in the P38 - never changed the battery for this one yet, but on some days it pops up and others it doesn't....been 18 months and still does it!
 
@Saint.V8 thanks for the info, I'll just keep a spare battery in the car just incase. And I suppose I better get my spare key ordered as well since the car only came with one.

You stated time to get another key. Which as far as I can tell is not the same as recon. Maybe its different where you are but I have yet to come across anyone who can get a new key from anywhere but the stealers. Would be interested in how your independent is managing it. Any chance of their name/number?
 
Now I have my log book I will go in next week and check. I'll let you know once I have one. No point everyone ringing them if I've got it wrong.

Oh right. Thought you knew for sure fro the way it was written. As I said would be interested if they are, as I have been told by the stealer and by my indie, it is a stealer only item. My indie can resynch but he cant supply.
 
While I was getting my service kit I mentioned I needed a new key and he said they are £140 - £165 and come back when I have the log book. From what you are saying I may have got it wrong.

Or perhaps they have. That price is around the stealers resynch price. I'll wait out and see what you come back with , once you speak to them. Im using one key at the moment , a new one , completely synched at that price would be a bonus.
