OK, all the Landie mags carry adverts for Kenlowe conversion kits for your viscous fan, yet Demontweeks do Pacet conversion kits for considerably less money (about £40 cheaper). Anyone like to make a comment/have experience of Pacet fans?

used to get pacet kit for free when i raced a bit, and knowing how often it failed i'd not spend my own money on it - i needed a leccy fan when i put a tdi in the lightweight and compared how well each were made - the pacet looks like something out of a xmas cracker when sat next to a kenlowe equiv, i'm sure plenty of people must be happy with them or else theyd have gone out of business ages ago - buy cheap buy twice

Cheers fer info, it's goin on a 200 TDi - genuine one at that. I was just testin the waters as it's gonna be a few weeks before I decide. I have noticed that it will not be needed that much as it barely gets off the bottom unless I've bin thrashing it fer 10 minutes or so at 75 plus when the temp just creeps up to the normal halfway position.

Food fer thought, now time to get down the pub an ave a few beers an i'll be back later to break the 1000 post barrier ;)
