Right then guy's I have a perfectly good td4 engine complete with loom and applicable ecu's, but I am just wondering what kind of a job it would be to change it from the existing k series. Ie will my manual box be a straight swap, wiring loom issues etc..... I am a time served jag/Landrover techy but even this is unfamiliar teritory for me........
Is it worth the time and patience for increased mpg or is it more trouble than its worth??

never worth the effort, unless you put a tickford lump in

On this fred my last post makes more sense than your first one!


buy a TD4 Freelander with a snapped crank and chuck the lump in it, nowts easy with a Freelander this would drive you nuts.

it's the TD4 engine he's flogging, not his K-Series.

he ought to read our freds/posts and make his engine as good as we made ours.
