What a difference, no more low speed hesitation, pulls cleanly throughout the rev range and feels slightly faster too. Hopefully this will be the end of my very very expensive woes...Anyone else removed theirs?

Did you blank it off or fit a kit which is in effect a straight through pipe?

removed pipe from exhaust to egr and blanked off with a piece of stainless cut to size, looks very neat and didn't cost a penny.

ok i'm prolly missing the bleedin obvious but, whooooosh.....straight over.........wtf is egr?

Mine did cost 1p as that is what I used for blanking. The modern 1p is actually steel. Just MOTd mine like this and the emissions were super low. Next would be to see if I can get a down pipe without a CAT.

I blanked mine last week too. Definitely better throttle response & low down power. But I think MPG around town is a little worse. (but too early to tell)
