Hi Everyone,

This week I bought my first Land Rover - a 1994 Disco diesel.

I was worried that the Disco would have all of the bad points of a Defender (uncomfortable, bad on-road etc) with none of the good (amazing off-road, tons of fun). And also that it would have none of the best points of the Range Rover (luxury).

How wrong I was! Less than a week into ownership I realise - every journey is an adventure and it has the best of the RR and the Defender's plus points!

Some of you may be wondering why I didn't buy a Defender or a RR, given my preconceptions. Answer: I couldn't afford to purchase the former, or run the latter!

I am over the moon - what a fantastic thing the Disco is!!

For a big bitch, they're quite capable

They are great off-road, it's only their big bottoms that limits them slightly . Most of the time it's not a problem at all.

They do have a bit of overhanging booty yes

lol, this is true. It may have a lot of 'junk in the trunk', but at least I can get a lot of junk in the trunk!
