I am considering upgrading to coil springs, one of the vehicles I'm going to look at (90 2.5 N/A) apparently jumps out of 1st gear.
Is there a chance this could be something relatively simple (& cheap) like the detent spings on a series, or am I likely ro be inm for a Gearbox recon job?

What, doesn't any one know? I suppose I should follow LZ tradition , throw my dummy out, and storm off in a torrent of abuse and a hough,
Instead I'll hope moving it back to the top for the weekend might help.

Replacement gearbox off ebay is cheap enough..
