So I am getting to the point where I after owning a 109 and a Discovery feel the need for a Defender, well who wouldn't?
Now funds are limited and I am looking at either shagged TDIs or in better condition but (sometimes) cheaper TDs.....but I am concerned about the 2.5TD engine, should I be?

its a good engine ,when in very good condition problem is there arent many like that ,they are very prone to bore and ring wear

Just get a tdi, wish I had. The 19j was very problem prone for me.
