Massively helpful when required of course, but mildly depressing and worrying when thinking about what might break next!

So as a counterpoint I'd just like to say that my cosmetically 'challenged', old, leggy, tired Disco TD5 has been absolutely epic recently. She took us nearly 1,000 miles and back to go skiing. She's monstered the snow and ice. She's helped my parents move house. She's shifted loads of firewood.

I genuinely can't think of another car I'd replace her with (well maybe a Disco 3...). What an astonishing creation.

Its simply because people cant be arsed to google their question first or even try a search on here.
People rarely post to say how good something is, but quick as a flash jump on the its bad bandwagon.

Some topics are so mundane that a forum search can yield double figure results and a web search can yield hundreds of thousands.

But at the same time it is just as hard for some of the new generation to get to grips with having to figure it out for themselves or research a little, especially when they can just "ask" here.

Admittedly there are new advances in technology all the time and methodologies change and tools get better so some topics are worth revision from time to time.

But my D1 200Tdi has been busy today as my mode of transport to go help a young fella with his Series 3 project, bit of brake bleeding and setting up the clutch pedal and bleeding it through, lovely weather for it too, floating over the South Downs with a dash of snow and ice, all thawed now tho, the rains pi$$ed it all away.
