ande i got to change stat!!! also battery is totally flat, not even a light will work, can i charge it up on the car enought to start or will it fry the ecu????
 
I always charge the battery whilst it is on the car. The charger puts out no more voltage than the alternator and quite a few amps less.
Shouldn't be a problem.
 
well, job done, decided to jump it and it seems fine, we'll find out how fine in the morning! seems to be pumping and circulating fine. hopefully it's the end of the hassle for a month or two!

interestingly it needed the eka code, as i expected, but it allowed me to put it in with the drivers window not set and i didnt have to set any windows.

anyways, stand by for next fault!!! lol!!!
