Thank you both for your welcomes and concerns over my TD5. Engine is very noisy on the top end and is very underpowered. The head gasket was replaced a while back and to judge by "collateral" damage done I suspect that the job was done by a troop of monkeys. I rather think that the injectors were not put back in the right order and that the rockers were not set up correctly. Further that the hydraulic tappets were allowed to drain. "Watch this space" as they say.
