I've started to experience a problem with my td5 manual, sometimes when turning left I get a grating noise and loss of drive. Wiggling the steering wheel to the right seems to restore normal drive.

This has started to occur more and more frequently, staight lines are fine just when turning left.
has anyone come across a similar problem before, or have any suggestions?

I have access to a workshop, and the disco is parked up for now.

rhs wheel bearing, its usual for the bearing thats opposite turning direction as that has the weight shifted on to it during the turn,but you cant guarantee that and check cv at the same time
