my fuel gauge has started intermittently working. Seems to be ok once I've driven a few miles.

I've taken the gauge out to check for loose connections but all seems find.

What should I test / check?

Gauge and earth wires on the sender.

I'm guessing the sender isn't easily accessible

It's on top of the tank, which tratter have you got and where's the tank? If you're lucky it's under the seat which is accessible by removing a few screws

Thanks. It was under the seat. One of the connectors had worked loose
