hi guys, looked on RAVE and tried pressing and holding the middle button, dash display says interior lights on. but when opening either front door the light doesn't come on. You can operate the reading lights by pressing the buttons on either side but pressing the middle button doesn't turn the main light on. Surely if the door sensor was dodgy the dash display would tell me the door was open and the alarm wouldn't activate?

hmmm, Im sure you must of checked this BUT are the bulbs ok?? Also, when you open the front doors does the message centre say their open, door latch failure is a funny thing and can sometimes start with showing that the door is open when its not and vice versa.
Id check the bulbs first

Not if the fault made the car think the door was always closed.
