Someone on facebook has an interesting problem. New shoes and drums and adjusters (nothing britpart) but cant adjust the shoes so that they lock up. However when he puts a sleeve over the adjuster post to bring the shoes closer to the drum it all works fine.

Master cylinder he says has been adjusted to the book. Any ideas folks? Seems an odd one

Have noticed some cam repair kits have two sizes of cam in them,could be wrong one fitted.

Sorry did not note the new drums on first read. Think SWB and some LWB brakes use different size cams.

Mintex shoes and he checked the snail cam size that they were the same size as original

The kit I bought had two different sizes supplied, could not see a huge difference.
