I've inherited a 24spline front axle off Marmaduke (ty) and I would like to do it up and stick it in the front of my truck. The swivels are slightly pitted where the current swivels on my 10 spline front arnt. If I buy two swivel kids excluding the balls could I use my existing balls from the 10 spline axle?

I can't answer for definite but this says it fits all defenders....

James will know this, but I thought the only difference was ABS/Non ABS?

It's knowing what those differences are. I suppose I could ask the previous axle owner if the truck it came from had abs lol...

Im thinking of using the same balls I have on mine but with all the disco gear. Im not sure if I'm going to use my existing disks and calipers and just slot the whole hub ect into the front axle case I already have on. Or I may paint this one up and swap the whole thing.

Can't see why the balls would not be universal

there are only 2 chrome balls or was defender pre 300 tdi frc2644 which is now ftc5105 with top bush an pin bottom bearing ,and frc7065 now ftc5366 /tir100000 bearing top and bottom,disco 1 were all frc7065 except abs which used frc2644, defender 300tdi on used frc7065

So could I use my 1989 swivel balls in the disco hubs with the new swivel kit for the 1989 swivel balls and 24spline cv and shafts? Lol

1989 defender chrome ball wont fit a disco swivel housing etc unless its abs disco axle

Looks like it's a set of new disco balls with the swivel rebuilds on this 24 spline axle then
